    i have done that twice with silkies..could not wait....i never had the nerve to do it when they were so young tho...so you barely had to nip the nail? they look so delicate and tiny! i did the nails but they were prob 8 weeks when i did it or at least 6....

    They sure do lay pretty eggs and maybe you will be lucky...i have a 3 yr old BCM and she has never gone broody! i am very glad about it mostly because her personality would not allow me to get close to her or her chicks most likely and she might kill anyone who tried, feathered or otherwise!

    Yes sure are all individuals! My most assertive one is my banty white Cochin. The cutest smallest little yellow chick was the bossiness dictator and even my large fowl bird feared her. She has mellowed some but her word still goes and I just love that sassy girl. She isn't mean but she is firm...

    what cuties! i am veering off from my regular forums to ask here if ANYONE anywhere has knowledge of bantam BCM's????? Someone in oregon WAS doing that but no longer.....would be a serious success here!
