I agree with celtic oak. That color combination will throw grey females and splash males. If it was reversed with the male as white and female as grey then you would get splash females and grey males. Something to do with the color being sexlinked. Renae

Here is a picture of mine when they were young. The one in the far back is a buff and the others are white. Not sure if that helps but at least a starting point

The middle ones look white. Buff babies look similar to whites but are very light and more even colored all over more so than even male white babies.
