I am about an hr east of Knoxville. What you do with them is your business....lol I have 1 royal palm, and two blue slates one of which is lavender phase. I am keeping two slates for breeding. I got them as poults last May. I can home today with them fighting and their heads all beaten up.

I have 12 chicks that were hatched on Christmas eve and day. Two full black cooper marans, one marans / Andalusian, one marans blue laced red Wyandotte , and the rest marans/ production red. hatched them to practice incubating. $2.00 each if anyone would be interested.

What is everyone's experience with shipped eggs? What is the general hatch rate? Oh first time using the incubator and the total count was out of 24 eggs got 12 healthy live chicks, 2 died during hatching and 4 never pipped. 6 were not fertile.

Well my eggs started hatching yesterday. 7 so far with 3 more pipped. Since this is the first time using a incubator I am excited. Will let ya know the total outcome.

thanks for the info. I broke one open before I put them in and it was fertile. I am gonna let them go until hatch time and open them up to see what was going on.

Well I candled my eggs that are suppose to hatch on Christmas eve. None of the call ducks did anything but almost all the chicken eggs have babies in them. Say some moving around. Either my drake is no good or is there a secret to hatching call ducks. This is my first time ever using a incubator...
