OK, I've got my pic of the first chick that hatched in my Brinsea......This little chick hatched out on St. Patrick's Day, and of course is named Patty O'Malley! I sure hope Patty is a little girl because she's an Olive Egger!
Well, I've got one Olive Egger chick out. It hatched yesterday around 8pm, on St. Patrick's Day, so I've named it Patty O'Malley.....Nothing else.....Hope to see more activity after work......(Today is the offical hatch day at 8pm.)
Wish me luck, y'all!
One pip that I can see and I heard a chick peeping in the shell.......nothing more for some time now.....is this normal? Humidity is 65-68 is that OK?
Somebody???
Hey everybody, I've got a pip! Let the hatching begin! Lockdown humidity is 68 degrees right now.......temp is 99..........
I've already ran the sweeper, shook the rugs, cleaned the kitchen re-arranged and dusted my chick room, moved my chick brooder, swept the storage room, made the bed, now...
Oh, I'm in! It's the first time using my new Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco, so I hope I get a great hatch! I've got nine olive egger eggs and a few Wheaten Marans eggs!
