I honestly think 2 of the chicks I hatched july 22nd are part silkie... the EE is silkie feathering uder it's wings... and well.. the other I know 100% is part silkie. Gosh.. they're lookig so weird but cute!!!

Alright. Actually, im not going to hatch eggs... Not for a long time. The chicks at the store we usuàlly get them from are sexed, and have vaccinations etc... But thanks everyone. In July the broody polish helped the chicks out, but this broody isn't. But at least i think the chicks I hatched...

Hope they're okay! Poor little things! The hawk that tried getting my Turken/EE/Silkie is gone.. not sure where it went. The broody who got attacked has really tiny scabs now! Yay :) MY egg wont hatch. Just.. not piping. It thinks it can brake the shell by trying to move. UGH..! It's day...

Woohoo... the egg was suppost to hatch yesterday. No pips even today :(. It's just squirming and I bet it's trying to get out by pushing the egg open! Silly little chick.. you've gotta peck!!! So... I just wish the egg would pip. I don't care if it's a little crack.. just wanna know a little...

Alright! Nothing yet... I was really sad :(. I was talking to the egg, cupped in my hand, and it wiggled!!! I put it under the broody fast!!! So, if they wiggle.. about how many hours until they hatch? Haha.... my mom thought it was supposed to hatch tomorrow, but I thought today. OH well.....

THat's why I'm so excited! It's been pretty warm, so hopefully... but my friend is coming over, so I hope it hatches. We can play with it, hehe :). She has chickens too.
