I grew up in Collinsville so I knew what the Temps are like. I am in louisiana now and it is worse than st Louis. I don't let hen set during the summer months cause it is way to hot and humid. Even the newly hatched chicks just get a heat lamp at night.

The day you set them is day 0. The next day is day one. If there was a temp drop it could be as much as day 23 to 25. After that. It is possible they might have stopped developing or die in the Shell. But peeping is a good thing. Good luck.

I think I have a broody hen. I gave her 6 golf balls to see if a she is gonna stay broody. If so I am gonna give her a few of my eggs no that I have a couple of roos. Got my fingers crossed.
