    Thanks for the tips. I'd like him to have a flock and a happy life. Roosters are penned individually at the rescue here. But I never thought of posting on Craigslist. I'll try that. He was attacking some people on my family, but now he is actually very nice.

    LOL! I keep forgetting most hens aren't the sweetest when broody. I had such an easy time with both of mine that I could check everything. As long as they could see it was me checking them. Once I tried to check my broody at night and she made me fear for my life!
