I had 2 that I had got from Richard Jordan and they were beautiful birds. Just gave the other one away a month ago because I had so many roosters. I now have a 8 week old that I hatched from some of Richard's eggs when trying for a pullet...and just got 3 pullets from Bryce 3 or 4 weeks ago.....- chichichickapea

Found my head rooster dead today when I got home (Cream Legbar)....killed by our family dog. Found a dead guinea the end of last week and could not figure out what happened. I was in the coop Saturday and he snuck in past me and killed a 6 week old blue English Orpington and I caught him and...- chichichickapea

My hens have been doing that....we have had a couple of little cool snaps, for us anyway, and their laying is defininetly off then. Mine will lay good for several days then go several days and nothing....but they only started laying for the first time 3-4 weeks ago. As far the missing hens...- chichichickapea

I think the perfect cross would be the Cream Legbar with the Crele Orpington. I love the rounded, plumpness of the orpingtons and they are much more docile than the leghorns.....any way that is my idea and what I hope to do in the next year.- chichichickapea

I have Isbars, Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons and Cream Legbars that I got from Richard and they are gorgeous birds! Also have 9 eggs setting now from him....I see veining (I think) in all but one after 3 days....this is my first time incubating eggs so I am a rookie on how things are supposed to look...- chichichickapea

I have them in the 2 end windows...so they are always in a breeze...but our mosquitoes were bad early on this year, but we've been spraying, have 2 mosquitoe magnets and a mosquito deleto, etc. ....but there are several ponds around...one by our house...a little creek about 100 yards from the...- chichichickapea
