Update: My Legbars are now 3 & 5 weeks old. They all started roosting last week, so no longer use their heating pad.
These are my two cockerels. My 3 wk old and my 5 wk old.
Some of my pullets.
The youngest ones were different colors when I first got them...
I will say one thing about these Legbars, they sure do like to fly!
I noticed yesterday the older ones where having fun flying/jumping all over the roost. I guess they look at it like their jungle gym! LOL
Here are some pics of the two flocks that my babies came from.
When you see these Roos in person, they just shine! I know these aren't perfect, but it gives me somewhere to start.
These are one generation from Greenfire. They are from the earlier birds that Greenfire had.
Their bright coloring is what I feel in love with when I first saw this breed. I think all those colors are so pretty, plus you get hens with a cute top notch and beautiful blue eggs to match! What more could you ask for? lol
I understand they are Cream Legbars. I like the cream color, but I...

I feel the same way with metric. I don't do my measurements right when I'm working on the coop. When I measure, its like this, "39 in and one (little line) past a...
They are going to look awful small next to my English Orps! lol
The breeder I'm getting my Legbars from said all of her Roos have been really nice. I'm hoping the attitude will continue.
I have Crested Legbars ordered, they were put in the incubator on Friday!
I like the cream colored ones, but I like the crele or "more colorful" ones better. I'm hoping mine are more along those lines. These are from GFF's stock, but the earlier ones, not the newest Reese line.
