I can't speak for anyone else, but whenever I've reached into the EE pullet bin at the farm store I always end up with at least 1 cockerel. I usually pick out 3-6 and always get 1 little roo. This has happened about 4 or 5 times
Looks like a cockerel to me. Whenever I've gotten hatchery EE pullets there is always been 1 or 2 boys in every 5 pullets. I'm not quite sure if they are more difficult to sex or if I've just had bad luck.

all 3 are pullets
x2 I have a silver girl too

She is a little terror though...
Oh my gosh she is soooo cute!

I have to respectfully disagree with you on the second one... I'm almost positive she's a girl (she has to be she's my favorite lol).
This is the best comb Picture I could take of Lucinda this morning. She's very friendly and shy. I usually end up befriending the "bottom of the pecking...

Nice! I hope you're right, and thank you
I have 2 little Barred Rocks that I'm brooding w/the EE's that I've named Venus and Athena... I love naming them hehe
I'm raising 4 more easter eggers. They're almost 5 weeks old. I'm almost certain that 2 of them are girls and one of them is a cockerel. The fourth I'm not sure about, but I'm leaning toward girl.
This is Lola... I'm pretty sure she's a girl.
This is Lucinda and I'm pretty sure she's a girl...
Hi Illory. I hope I'm wrong but I believe your Extra Crispy is a little cockerel. That dark red color on his wings and shoulders is indicative of a male. Of course I'm far from an expert. I've only raised 4 EE's ... 2 of which turned out to be boys. I knew what they were even before they left...

Oh no! I have one turning into this color and her comb is bigger then my other EE. I thought the orangey colors were all female.lol
Do you have any pictures of him/her?
Is the comb redder then your other little girls?
Are his legs thicker then the others?
Sorry about all the...
I might leave him in that little grow out pallet coop/bachelor pad that I made when I move the little girls in with the rest of the flock. I definitely don't want him in with my girls. The last rooster I had on top of being mean and aggressive toward me he left his 4 girls with bald backs and...
Yup... and I just got rid of a mean production red rooster with no desire to ever get another roo lol. I'll try and get a video of him crowing tomorrow morning and post it on here if I can. I really wanted 4 girls. Oh well I guess i can wait till next year to get a few more EE girls.
Just a little update on Lucinda. I caught him crowing this morning @ 8 weeks old
That means that 2/4 of my EE's turned out to be boys. They should have just labeled them as straight run instead of pullets

Awesome... I hope your right *crosses fingers* lol
@sevenbabychicks Thank you. I think s/he is very pretty too. It would suck if I had 2 out of 4 boys because I though I was buying 4 pullets. No way I can convince hubby to get more baby chicks until next year lol
Thanks everyone for...

Sure thing. I'll do that in the morning

s/he is definitely a looker... I really really REALLY didn't want another rooster after my bad experience with the production red meanie, but I might give this one a try... maybe. Ugh I'm not even sure lol.

I agree. He has...
