How old is this bird? If it's around 12 weeks or older I'd say it's a pullet.

Glad you're holding on to her! Hopefully she'll get friendlier as she gets closer to the point of lay.

At this point the only for sure cockerel is Red. The black and white bird could very well be molting so it's hard to say for sure yet, I would hold on to it for a few more weeks. The black bird doesn't look like it has any pointy hackle or saddle feathers coming in which it should at 15 weeks if...

I agree that the top is most likely a pullet, but I'm leaning roo on the bottom one due to the patchy natural of the pattern on his wings.

These all look like pullets. Tail angle doesn't really matter with EE's.

I'm still going to go with pullet on Ginger due to the fact that the red is all over and not in patches like debid said. If it was only on the shoulders and not all over the wing then I would be worried, but it's not so I think you're safe. You'll probably keep second guessing her until you get...

x2. I've had EE roos that got pink combs at 3 weeks while their brothers didn't pink up until 12 weeks or later. They really like keeping us guessing don't they.
