I am sooooo happy to finally know for sure. When I posted her at 5 weeks, she was looking pretty boyish, but her color has always been very even. I have 4 cockerels already lol. Definitely happy I can keep all my Easter Eggers. Thank you!!

I am posting my EE again. He/she is 10.5 weeks now. I do feel that the red I've seen in the comb is flushing. I have gone to the coop and watched before entering and her comb is practically yellow. I was quite surprised, since it always looks so pink when I go to feed or handle them. Maybe you...

I'm also confused about coloring tips...this chick has even coloring and no red. Plus it's got black all over. :hu If anyone takes a guess, could you comment on this color pattern? I've not seen any like this one in previous pics.

It's been 3 weeks since I posted my suspected cockerel EE, OshKosh. He/she is now 8.5 weeks old and I am not convinced yet. I'm concerned about the red in the comb, but there has been no comb growth. He/she is also not acting like the other cockerels at all. Tail feathers are broad and...

Oh my. I think you were lied to. I'm still fairly new myself, but I'm sure chick 2 isn't EE. Yellow feet, waddles, straight comb. Pretty sure that's a cockerel also. First chick is also a cockerel. That's a heck of a comb for 4-7 weeks. (They look closer to 7 imo). The others are also showing...

Thanks! I will keep an eye on him. I actually have 3 BR cockerels and pretty sure 2 Aussies as well. Going to be hard to decide on our keeper(s). I have 16 that I'm sure are pullets.

I bought 3 EE pullets and think I may have a little cockerel. They are 5.5 weeks old. He/she started showing a little pink at 4 weeks and it looks like the comb is no longer flat like the other two. It may be too early to tell though. This chick is the most skiddish of all so I don't bother...
