Sex-linked is given if the person determining the sex knows what they are doing lol. With that being said, the sapphire gems seem to be one of the harder ones to determine. The boys have a light spot on their head. And if any of them have barring, they are likely male.

I recently had one that most were convinced was a roo because she had a lot of red. Mom was a typical hatchery ee and dad was a black ee ( some sort of...
One on the right is definitely a cockerel. I can't see the black one well enough to tell and solids are harder.
Put something in there for them to roost on. Otherwise they will be covered in poop.
Do you have any specific questions?

The patterning is beautiful and I have seen females have coloring like that.
I think 3 are boys. Only the darker red one looks to be female. I think they are EEs since technically EE just have to have the blue green gene somewhere. The black one looks like it might have some maran in there. The white one, might have some legbar.
2 and 3 are definitely girls. 1, you'll have to watch and wait. I had one with a black breast which I was told might be a boy, but as she got older the black dispersed.
12 weeks now. I was just told speckle is a Roo on fb. Any input here? I am sure the other 2 are pullets as there have been no changes to them. Last pic is a group picture.
