Thank you ! So glad to hear she's a pullet! I was so concerned I'd have to find her another home. Thank you for the calming advice. I have to take the youngsters from their cage in the coop to the chicken tractor every day since they aren't totally integrated yet,so Peepers is handled at least...- amanda1

One more mention, this is my second attempt at a female EE. They both seem extremely scared of being held by humans. Is this common with EEs? I have been handling Peepers daily, doing my best to go slow and gentle, but it almost seems the fear has become worse. I wish there were some way I could...- amanda1

Peepers is just about 8 weeks old now. I am not seeing extra large legs, only seems to be one row of "bumps" on the comb, I am not good at differentiating tail carriage/shape, and not seeing any pointed feathers. My only concern is the pink comb. A few weeks ago it was more white, but would...- amanda1

Here are two more photos. I hope I'm just being paranoid. The white beak area in contrast with the black make it really stand out. I cannot keep it if it's a rooster, which is why I'm concerned.- amanda1

PRAYING this little one is a pullet. 5 weeks old. My last EE was a male, and I was devistated. I am just asking for one female EE, that's all! So far the legs don't seem extra large.
