Camo...looking more like a hawk everyday! Harpo...still not sure. Are these saddle feathers? Harpo (far right) with some of the other EEs. Mindy, just because...Opal sneaking in.

I haven't seen anyone plucking feathers in over 2 months. There are several of the EEs that are still covered with pin feathers down their backs and on their tails, while the others are fully feathered. I'm not sure why but Groucho, Harpo, Camo, Opal, Pearl, and Sonny are still growing in...

I am really torn on Harpo. The coloring on her neck feathers looks pointy, but the feathers really aren't, because there is a cream color around the outside of the feathers. It hurts my head, and I go cross eyed looking at them. There are some pin feathers on her neck, but then again there...

We call Groucho our eagle. She is so serious! I can't find any hackles on Harpo though. The feathers that I can find that appear sort of pointy, are actually tattered from always being on the bottom of the chicken pile. I keep looking though. I will see if I can get any pictures of Harpo...

I think so too. He has so many colors. He hasn't crowed yet, hasn't even attempted to. Hopefully, he stays quiet so we can keep him :) So far, neither Groucho (19 weeks) or Harpo (15 weeks) have changed. I keep checking for hackle feathers on both of them, and I am not seeing any.

Camo is now 15 weeks old and his roo feathers are really starting to come in. He has these crazy "helmet" feathers, that make him look like he should be on the Avengers.

Wwwwwaaaaahhhhh! Now I am watching the other girls closely, but so far no changes. We are allowed to have roos, if no one complains. There is a roo, that has lived down the street for a couple of years now, that crows every morning between 5:30 - 6:30 and then randomly throughout the day. So I...

Yes, that is Camo. It gets worse! Here are some pictures from today... His :( back is still pretty bare, just starting to get pin feathers.

No idea, but a couple of my girls have dark grey, almost black, colored legs.

What are these feathers? I thought they might be hackle feathers coming in, but I think they are too high up.

Here are updated pics, from today, of the "girls"... Mork - calm and quiet Mindy - very mellow. Normally hangs with Cher and one of the most outgoing. Sonny - always on the bottom of the pile, follows what everyone else is doing Cher - super dominant and very...

It would be awesome! I am so back and forth on them. Of course, like they say, we won't really know until they crow or lay an egg :) I just have no patience. I will try and get some new pics tomorrow, if the weather cooperates. When I looked at Groucho and Harpo's necks, it looks like all of...

Well, I checked my 3 main (Camo, Groucho, and Harpo) "pullets" in question, and non of them look like this to me...so confused.

Camo was in isolation, letting his poor tail heal, when Harpo was attacked. They tore up Harpo's left wing pretty bad. Camo and Harpo of two of the shyest of the group. They never are involved in squabbles over food or roosting space. They pretty much just settle where ever they are allowed.

Do pullets tend to beat up cockerels? Just wondering, because all fifteen of the babies live together, and Camo and Harpo have both been beat up by the others. None of the others even have so much as a feather out of place.

I bought my "girls" as Ameraucanas. After questioning the lady about their leg color, she told me that they were Araucanas. I told her that I thought they were EEs, which was fine because that is what I wanted anyways. I have no idea what my girls are, and after posting them on this forum, I...
