@Rea17 I don't know. For the breed it seems to be, I would expect to see some red on the wings. But that might not be the case, it probably actually isn't that type, but I don't know for sure. Going by the comb, my phone isn't the best with pictures, so it is difficult to tell the number of...
I think it is a girl. Sure it may be patchy now, but I have an EE pullet at 18 weeks who looked just Like that at that age. The red evened all out. From the best picture I saw of the comb, it looked like a single row. I am pretty sure that is a girl.
I would guess boy, but I am not expert!
We named our first Easter Egger Duckie (spelt differently, but same idea). Darn neighbors dog got to her. She was one of my favorite.
She is the one in the back. Neighbors dog killed both of these hens on the same day. 2 of my most friendly, cool egg...
Our 1st easter egger had a tail like that. Did some research, and found out it is called a tailless easter egger. Our poor Duckie was truly a mutt. Layed green eggs, was tailless, and had no earmuffs. But she was a sweet heart nonetheless. I still hate the neighbors dog that murdered her.
Okay, here is my little EE. Sugar is about 8 and a half weeks old. She has the red on her wings, but she only has a single comb. Any guesses?
Thanks in advance!
yes I did, I just am not all that good with sexing them by their coloring, the comb is better, but not always true. I hope others can chime in if I am being inaccurate.
I am not for sure, but think this one is a girl. Might want to wait 1 or 2 more weeks and get new pictures.
This one seems to be a boy due to the 3 rowed pea comb. I could be completely wrong, so hopefully others will chime in as well.
