I misread your statement and I was wrong. I really didn't mean for my post to appear nasty honestly, but rereading it, it does sound nasty and I apologize.
Yes I am very lucky to have a beautiful flock of black Ameraucana from a celebrated breeder.
I'm sorry, your version of how the *now recognized breed of Ameraucana chicken* is completely false. My birds are directly from John Blehm a foremost breeder of true Ameraucana. Too many people stating rumors as fact, so go to the source.

Except for my Ameraucana's my EE's are my favorite layers. They are a catch all mutt mix that come in a variety of colors, patterns, lay eggs of all colors but usually green and brown. You could make your own trying to concentrate on certain colors or markings like breeding to Deleware...
fAnd here are the two blue wheaton pullets that look very similar to those previous. Both pullets and the rooster is above. So this may help a few of the previous posters questions. Looks like quite a few of us got the same hatchery chicks! I love mine, i wanted to start breeding blue...
Russel Crowe
Purdy Pullet (her mom is Pretty Chicken, and Blue a rooster
Russell Crowe again
Stinkerbelle ? still trying to figure her out
two blue wheatons in the middle,
Looks like more than one of us had the same colored Easter Eggers. My rooster a blue wheaton, and I wish the...
Actually that is rust showing on her shoulders below the gold. Hope you are right.
Geez I am having so much trouble with Internet Explorer on this site, and it doesn't like my phone photos.
Well, crap. Let me try to load the other photo.
This is Stinkerbelle, and she is top pullet, and feathered as fast as the other pullets, was a shy chick, and is almst 9 weeks.
Thanks, I thought so too. I have been eyeballing the two I think are pullets that looks like red on the shoulders coming out. If I don't say it, it won't happen lol.
These two EE's produced these two blue chicks, I was really surprised. You can click on the pics to enlarge.
And I need to know if anyone else thinks the darker one is a roo. I think it might be because it was VERY slow to feather out. They are 5 weeks tomorrow.
They blend into the...
UPDATE: At almost 8 weeks
They turned out just like their chick color with one having a darker head than the other,
The other two, roo and hen: #1 and 4
Very interesting colors! Pictures just don't capture their colors correctly. These two are in the doghouse/banty coop, for bullying...
I knew when I bought these chicks that the chick on the top left in the second picture and second 4 week old in the first picture next to the gold one is a roo. It always was larger and had thicker longer legs than the others. Now it is getting a few rust colored feather coming in at the...
Wow, my first 3 EE chicks I picked are identical to that first one, and then I got another like them a week later. I also got two like your second one. Look like BlueWheatons, and a few blues. Can't wait another two weeks to get mine all together and take more pics for my photo journal of...
the little black hen I posted before hatched out two gorgeous chicks for me. A friend told me she looked to be an EE mix of a Sumatra. And yes her chicks look like those I googled.
I have so much trouble with this site. IE apparantly has issues with it.
And the buff hen that looks like she...
Looks exactly like one of mine at 8 days. These two were identical except in pic #1 the left chick had a little darker coloring. Now they are turning different colors but in the same scheme of things if that makes sense. #3 chick in the middle was similar but charcoalish blue above and...
My replacement Easter Eggers chicks. 4 days old
This *breed* has become my favorite for egg production and friendliness. I have fun trying to figure out what color they will end up being.
