that's a Blue Swede (blue means gray for some reason)... you also might end up with some splash, white with grey flecks... That's my splash and my blue swedes.

other than this isolated incident, there hasn't been any health issues in any of my 3 swedes over the past 3 1/2 years, and lots of awesome eggs. they are fat, and don't fly, but they love to swim and are wonderful.

I've had fabulous luck with my swedes for the past 3 years. Just this week though, one has developed some sort of leg paralysis or something... but her sisters are fine. Great layers, all around my favorite ducks, and I've got pekins, cayuga, runners, mallards and khaki campbells too.
