I bathe my silkies using kitty shampoo for ticks and fleas. I use leg bands with numbers for my silkies starting at four months old. I use zip ties before that but I don't recommend it unless you are very attentive to your birds. You wouldn't want to forget about them.

Blues from my first hatch of the Spring. All the blue and self blue chicks came from my Self Blue roo x dark Blue hens. All of them are split to Self Blue. The chick in the back was named Zorro.
