In defense of Rancher Hicks....I didn't take the comments as hostile nor know-it-all. I took it only as probable sound advice. Of course, I'm not the person to whom the advice was directed so how I took it really doesn't matter...but I know often it is difficult to interpret someone's writing...

First, I'm so sorry you lost so many of your rescues. You have a great heart! I suspect Rancher Hicks is probably on to something...we all try so hard to do the right thing and maybe, sometimes, it's too much. Who knows in your case - maybe they were sickly maybe stressed. You did your best...
