    I have 2 hens sitting now one on 3 eggs shes my Brahma that hatched here last spring and my little bantam frizzle is sitting on 5 eggs.. I am about maxed out too for space, so most likely these chicks will be sold too, I just enjoy seeing the hens with their chicks so much it's hard not to let...

    They are and I thought the show boys were also. there was only 2 there and they must have been a match pair.. I don't know about the show girls and boys but I read that naked necks are pretty hardy.. how are they with other chickens? do they get picked on because they look different?

    I wonder if when you get ready to put them all together if you could do kinda like shuffle putting some chicks into another brooder and viseversa. that way when you put them all together the pecking order is has to be established again. Am I making myself clear. Like they have to start all over...

    not wash but wipe it off. that way the cotton ball or tissue is just slightly damp. hey i was just reading where someone used a piece of screen or hardware cloth to separate their chicks that that way they can see ,smell but not touch.. just have to be careful with the ends that stuff hurts...

    since you'd be using a tissue of even a cotton ball I don't think that much alcohol would get into her mouth, just make sure it's not dripping .you know just wet enough to gently wash off.

    I meant the chicks at the store must have been pecking it to have had a sore that big on it thigh. I am sorry to hear that heather isn't coming around. Sounds like she has lost the will to live. so sorry.
