i cant imagine.we been having alot of coyotes around her,my biggest fear is ill go out in the morning to find a massacre.no matter how well your coop is made you still worry youve missed something..
as long as the birds are behind chicken wire the dogs could care less, but if the birds get out they dont stand much of a chance.i didnt see that, how horrible.
i love your coop,it is adorable..we have 3 ponds but we are the only ones who keep our dogs fenced in,so i dont think the ducks would survive, but maybe 1 day....
ive got, silkies, showgirls, brahmas, turkens, japanese, cochins, frizzle cochins,d'uccles, seramas, buff orpingtons, favorelles,ee's,rir's,polish, the rest are mutts.60 in all...what all do you have?
these are my first, but my chickens seem to take real well when i introduce new chickens.my dh just let me know that 1 of my silkies had been missing and he just found her on a nest.so i guess i have more babies to look forward to..lol im getting about to my limit so ill have to give those babies...

that sounds like a good idea.i have to get some of that blu-kote off her.i noticed the blu-kote sometimes looks red under the red light,so i may have to wait til its gone to put them all together..
baby chick is doing great.i wonder how long it will take for that blu-kote to wear off of her beak.thats where the babies were pecking on her the most.heather is laying in the corner not moving as usual.. im gonna try to feed her after ive had my coffee...
