Hi Zanadi and welcome. I'm fairly close to you, in Corvallis. It's ridiculous that Salem won't allow chickens. I hope you are able to stay under the radar. If your neighbors have told you they don't care, and you are discreet, I would think you'd be fine.- AngieChick
