    My garden was pretty fruitful last year, although i have had MANY better years. You cant expect much with such a short "summer" season. Alot of plants that were planted in mid-spring (like mine) got stunted when it rained for like 2 weeks, and they all just shot into bloom. Oh well, cant do well...

    Yes, we all need more birds, and we CERTAINLY need to inspire birdfanaticism amongst the NW populous. I think im going to stock up and bring ALOT of birds to the swap. I will probably have 2 or 3 (maybe more) extra young BLRW cockerels from Paul's Poultry. And LOTS of young chicks!!

    What do you mean by a sound proof chamber? I am also very interested in adding a rooster to my flock. I also live in the city & want to keep my neighbors happy. We live 20 minutes west of Portland. Also, how do you pick what breed of rooster to get? Obviously we'd want a quieter, docile breed...

    I just got him from a person on this forum who is located in California. Her name on here is HeatherL. I cant wait to see him later on this week with his lady friend and 3 pullets!! Im SOOO excited!! BTW does anyone in Oregon, Preferably within a reasonable driving distance (from portland)...

    @ZooMummzy- Thank you for your advice. I want to keep him in an isolation booth during the night time and early morning, but truly want him to free-range during the day. I really want to have this guy on display, hes so beautiful!! I hope hes a truly "calm" demeanor, who will do his "job" well...
