i have a weird question i am looking for someone who will come to my home and go over my flock and coop (check for mites, look at their poop to look for any signs of, well, anything) with me and talk about or explain their findings, and things i can do to improve my flocks well being. hopefully...

Banks has a chicken vet. i have looked all over the forest grove/Cornelius area even some Beaverton area. the Beaverton veterinary gave me a good number to a place in Portland on N.E. Lombard that also does chickens but that's a lot further from me then banks is.
our new addition to our flock thanks to coastal farm and ranch who is having a buy one get one sale on all week old chicks. I went in to price check them with wilco today and they were more expensive then wilco by at least 50 cents. Yay for BOGOs!

There are tons of feathers in their run. I was thinking it was either from the recently broody hen or the worst (bugs!), but molting makes a lot more sense especially since there are no bugs on them that we can tell. And some of the other chickens look as though they have lost some feathers.

what is the earliest your pullets started laying? we got a tiny egg today i just say its a "fart" egg from the older hens but my grandma was insisting that it was from the babies since that is what they do at first. we have six 12 week old 2 EEs and 4 leghorns we can rule out the leghorns.
