I have a white cochin I would be willing to part with. Daphne is 14 to 18 months old and has spent more time broody than not. She has never hatched eggs. My Cochin, Daphne has benn sitting on the eggs I bought for her for 2 weeks. I lost 4 eggs due to squable over the favorite nest box but still have 4 left. I made her a temporary nest out of a pet carrier and a portable run I bought from some folks who made a bigger one. If I had done this first...- marty8587

Wow!!!! A This is nice! I am mostly into eggs and and enjoying the chickens. I would mostly want laying chickens as I find they have great personalities. I do not know how to PM, but have been succesful at doing it back. Please let me know what you have. Thanx, Marty- marty8587

I think I could make it out to Canby this week except For Thursday Dr. apointment as I am on vacation this week. Please let me know what works for you and if possible What varieties I may get. My Cochin "Daphne" seems to be going broody again, she laid an egg yesterday but has been on the nest with the other girls eggs all day today.
