I ended up with 1 hen and 3 roos. Which of course 1 roo has claimed her as his but I know she is nesting someplace but can't find it. She was sitting in a couple places under a pile of liimbs, I saw her but no eggs. They are about a year old and the roo is breeding her. I sure wish I could...- emvickrey

Last year we had alot of LF breed and they free ranged. We still had ticks as usual and chiggers too. We got guinea keets last year and kept them penned up for 4 months and now they roam as they will. They stay mostly in the woods and tall grass behind the house. I was going to say guinea. We got some just for the bug control and so far so good. We usually have ticks and chiggers on us by now. The dogs don't even have any ticks. We have 5 acres of woods behind out house and they cover behind out house and the neighbors which would be about 4 houses...- emvickrey
