This is the reason I picked Magpie Ducks. Very rare & hard to find. Even harder to find one with a good pattern. But when you get a good one, they are stunning!
Here is our top Drake Louie, has won tons at the the shows including the Ohio National, and better yet...

I would have to do a little research. I don't know which are cold hardy, flighty, etc. I've only been thinking about it, lol. Wondering if anyone in the area even has any of these already?
I've been thinking...I know scary huh. I think that there are so many of us in the area that we should pick a breed/even a variety of poultry off of the ALBC Critical List to take on as a project.

What do you think and what are your opinions.
We come home from a trip to Maine on the 16th so the 17th is out for us.
We are leaving our husbands and families to tend to our flocks while we go up the coast
The 24th would be better for me, but do whatever suits people the best. I don't have a lot left and what I do have right now...

I was too busy to explore but I know that Peachick had a cute hairy goat up near the consession stand. Stop by at Gowers and introduce yourself next month

Chris,
I think we spoke. Thank you for coming out to spend some time with us. We love to talk "chicken".
I'm going to tell Walter what you said about the GRILL!

I'm so glad you were there. I hope you enjoyed yourself. Wish we would have had a chance to hang out but happier that sales were so good and people had a great time at the swap.

I'm glad that she went to a good home. Earl (the rooster) seems to be missing her but Wanda and Yolanda are keeping him company.
I love my Polish too. I think that their personalities are the best.
Speaking of Polish. I wanted to find a LF white crested blue polish, but I didn't...
I had so much fun I stayed until Sunday

That is your sons duckie...free to him. Wouldn't he also want a very sweet special needs runner duckling?
As for the 1000's of chicks...I still have trouble with chicken math!
