My cat has no problem dealing with snakes..but she does not mess around with the girls at all! Lol.
Thank you!
I know, she has a little wave going on lol
Can't compare to Johnn's pictures, , but I still had to show off my pretty little Ava, my only remaining Buff.
She went from the very bottom of the pecking order, to the top!
She's like a little dog. A TON of personality.
Last night she nudged open the back door, let herself in, chased off the...
Too sweet! They're adorable.
I know what you mean. My Ava is like a little dog...she follows me everywhere and comes running when she sees me.
Sometimes she tries to follow me in the house at night.
...Sometimes I let her. Lol. But only for a few minutes!..or an hour
Hmmm...maybe White Rocks? They are beautiful girls!
Mine were 23-26 weeks :)
Id say pullet, at that age :) comb and waddles are still small and pale for one
It was hard! and my first batch of chicks too. They had a rough trip, got stuck an extra day then left on my porch, after I called the post office 3 times a day for 3 days.
I'm ordering from Ideal this time so the transit is overnight
I don't know about Australorps in particular, but mine...
Ok, don't smack me if this is a dumb question
My BO was panting the other day (yup, it was hot) and I noticed she had two little....weird looking bumps at the corner of both sides of her mouth, on the inside. Part of their mouths? I'd never noticed them before....
Or are they something I...
Yep! I've had to give both of mine away..there's just not a lot of room for roosters around here. Plus they were hatchery boys: an EE and a Silkie. Better bred birds might go for more, but I think $5 is probably a good place to start.
Too funny! My last girl, my other BO, laid her first egg on...
They're...6 months? Hatched 01/13/14.
Eloise has been laying for..maybe 2 or 3 ish weeks. Still waiting on Ava! She's the last one! Well...minus the Silkie. But she's younger.
Adorable as always!
Sorry :/
I know, I ordered from Meyers and one of my Orps is very full, more English looking and laying, while the other is sleeker, smaller, and just starting to squat. They have good personalities though.
The sleeker one is starting to fluff up a bit, but she won't get...
Look good to me from these pictures :)
My hatchery girls have different builds. I have on that's bigger and fuller, and a sleeker, slimmer one.
This is the only picture I have on this computer of one of them around 10 weeks or so.
She's the fuller one, Eloise.
