Will chickens go into a duck pond? I actually saw a video of a chicken swimming! I wouldn't try it, but I thought chickens would stay away from water. Just wondering because the ducks look so cute!

Thanks for the info, I think it's interesting how they relate to each other. All my girls get along I have 3 Buffs, and I got them as 2 day old chicks. I have a rabbit, she thinks she is a dog, she uses the dog door and I have two dogs that come and go as they please, but everyone gets along...

Yep we have one of those, she has a bad leg still, but she still gets around fine, and it hasn't effected her personality. Well, I take that back she enjoys being spoiled.

Don't worry it is an exciting time, they'll lay soon. Just be sure they aren't hiding the eggs, I have one that wouldn't lay in her nest box found her own spot. Which, is fine with me as long as I know where it is. Good luck keep us posted.

That's too funny! I never tried locking them up, but they always come running when they see me, might be all the treats they get.

I can top that, for some reason I have one laying on shelf in my garage. She goes in lays her egg and goes out. That being said, I did clear the shelf to better facilitate her, the things we do.
