I was going to get another BO roo, but came across an ad for a blue cochin roo who needed a home. So....now we have this ridiculously massive bird that looks like he's wearing jeans lol. My favorite of the girls is still a BO. She's gonna be a great momma someday (I hope)

My beautiful, gentle, perfect BO roo Skipper died suddenly a few days ago. Everyone is really bummed and the girls are in an uproar. Now starts the hunt for a new flock rooster.

One of my girls is pretty thin at a year old....and she's an absolute pig when it comes to food. She's probably the most energetic of our birds, too. I blame the hatchery lol.

Mine is the same way. He loves being fussed over. We do have one hen that's friendlier than him, but only because she follows my every step lol. He's calmer being held (by me), though.
