it was not a something killed it it died of starvation and nothing we did would help even if we got it off the nest it would peck hard make you bleed and get back on the nest.
tell that to my guinea hen that died on the nest that stupid thing had about a hundred eggs with her broody buddy and one hatched and lived for about 2 hours.
Hi I'm only 13 and looking forward on having chickens when I grow up.I was wondering if I have a rooster and a hen but the hen is not going broody will I still have fertile eggs for the incubator. If u can reply I would be grateful.
