    I considered giving her a few from the brooder from last night/this mornings hatch. But she is happy running around the yard with her sisters, so I am going to leave well enough alone.

    My broody has failed. Poor gal had 10 stinkers under her. I just pulled them all out, (very carefully) and put her out in the yard to run around.

    I put a small water fountain and a dish of food in front of my broodys box. She reaches out here and there for a snack. Her eggs should have hatched yesterday. I'll sneak a peek again later on, I don't want to keep annoying her.

    They are both beautiful birds! I have an egger with the same coloring/pattern, so perhaps there is a bit of egger in there too.

    I'm going to risk life and limb and try to candle Judy the ferocious broody's eggs tomorrow. I'll put mealworms outside before venturing in.

    I hadn't moved her yet as I wasn't sure she was going to stay on the eggs. But I will get her set up elsewhere now that it appears she's determined to stay on the nest. Thanks for all the tips.
