Hi all!
I have a couple silkie roosters I am looking to rehome- my flock is too small to keep all of them. If anyone is interested I’m in the Newburyport area. Photos attached!
Hi,
I’m so sorry, I just saw this. I rehomed my extra ee’s on Saturday.
What type of birds are you looking for? I have friends with birds as well who may have chicks soon.
Hi all- anyone looking for started pullets?
I bought 6 Easter eggers earlier this year(Essex county co-op, 6 chick minimum), really can only keep 2 or 3 in my flock. Located in Newburyport area.
All have been socialized, lots of interaction with both adults and children.
Do you still have any? I had one of my silkies (Easter hatch) pass away from failure to thrive this week. The other 3 are all looking suspiciously like Roo’s. I have a couple week old Easter Eggers I can mix them in with.
Anyone looking for a broody?
1 year old barred rock hen. Had been a great layer, but is stuck in a broody cycle I can’t break.
Anyone looking to hatch chicks, but no one will set a nest? Do it nature’s way! I don’t want to give her fertilized eggs as I hand raised 12 this year before she went...
Is anyone looking for a black showgirl silkie cockerel? He’s a proven defender, gentle with people and his girls, and beautiful. I hate giving him up, but my gamble on 4 day old silkies gave me 4 cockerels. He’s 5 months old. We are in the Merrimack valley area, and would be open to trading for...
I can't take him, but feel like we could have started a Silkie roo community in the Merrimack valley(I'm West Newbury). I got 4 day old silkies this spring, 2 are for sure Roo's, and I have a sneaky suspicion about the other 2. With a flock of 12 total there is no way I can keep them all.
