Thanks! Is it the redness in the Wyandottes that is tipping you off? They really have no comb formation yet, just smooth still... but they are starting to get pinker. Though they're supposed to be a rose comb breed.
Noooooo... not roosters. So what are the best qualifying characteristics for identifying whether we've got roos or pullets? I know they eventually crow.
The SLW doesn't have a comb at all but is starting to get a little rosy. Maybe I'll do another post with all the chicks I have so I can know...

Okay, all you photo-examining chicken gender professionals, I've got a few for you to figure out (all around 5 weeks)... I'm wondering because he/she seems to have developed a comb faster than the other breeds though...
