We bought part of a grass feed cow. best thing ever. No pink slim in the hamburger when it is cooking on the barbie. feel way better now as well. After butcher it was roughly 3.00 a pound but that is all the cuts of meat and I would pay more than the 3.00 a pound even just for the hamburger
we got a quarter cow this year. worked out to about 3.00 a pound after butchering. Best meat I have ever eaten. plus that 3.00 a pound is farm raised with no hormones and is everything from hamburger to tri tip
you do what you have to do and when it gets better you can actually save money by not making the same mistakes. My job is economy based ( sell plants to nurseries and contractors)
