I been needing a handle or knob to pull my chicken coop doors open with. Something easier than sticking my old numb finger in the wire and pulling the door open.

I have good success just cutting them up and packing raw into pint jars (there is just me to feed) pour boiling water over them and processing in pressure canner.
I think for 35 minutes, BUTT check for proper time. They look nice and fresh and not mushy. I add ½ teaspoon kosher salt per jar...
@ Aimless Farmer, squirrel is similar to wild rabbit, BUTT can be tougher. Wild rabbit tastes different from domestic rabbit. I like them both.
I grew up eating wild rabbits, squirrels, fish, frog legs and wild hogs.
We always had squirrel pan fried. Usually just dredged in seasoned flour...
