Leghorn-they are beautiful, but he is a terrible bully (not human-aggressive, yet). I love the color, but the rest of the breed characteristics leave a lot to be desired.

I opened the one that was cracked so badly and it is definitely fertile, which I knew it should be-he was young, but he knew his job. I will be putting every single egg in the bator for a couple of weeks. He had a beautiful straight comb, but he was still pretty young to say how else he would...

I was JUST about to write that mine haven't started laying yet either-but Sophia just came in with TWO blue eggs!!! Unfortunately, one is cracked pretty badly. I lost my roo last week-thanks to my MFL roo who flew into his pen and killed him.

We have gotten a couple that were 213 or 214 from Rachael's birds. Mine are still not laying yet-at 6-7 months! Has Jett laid an egg yet?

Does anyone else feel that Walter is the ideal example of what a Cream Legbar rooster should look like? His tail seems to be the perfect angle, type seems very good, comb is very straight, he has a slight crest, and his color seems perfect! Now I am excited-I have a Legbar cockerel from...

I have lost 2 little roos to the cold, but they were only about 2 months old at the time and in a coop that is not as draft-free as it should be. In all, they seem to be very hardy birds. The only problem I can see is the large comb getting frost-bite. The blue eggs are something I am going to...

I am about 3 hours from Wooster. I would be happy to meet you somewhere. He would be free. Mine are only 3-4 months old though, so he won't be breeding quite yet. Curtis, were you talking about Vanilla Ice in my pictures? He died a week after I got him, but I do have two more that are very...
