Funny Story! I got my 11 hens on April 13...like you..never had them before. What I did was left them in the coop for about 1.5 weeks and visited often with treats...the first day they huddled in the corner...about Day 3 some of them would come closer but as soon as I moved they would squawk...- MuskokaChick
