I had one before like the one pattgal posted and I expected the same when I cracked open my last egg but was surprised when I found that the egg was a double yolker with another egg inside and then another bigger surprise when the egg inside turned out to be another double...
I contacted my breeder. he did not send my hatching eggs by mail for fear they would not make it. Smart man. Anyway since my eggs were not sent I have no justification to buy an auto turner

egg in an egg. both shells were hard too
Ps: some chickens sing the egg song. My...
If my dark eggs don't arrive in the mail today I'm gona contact the breeder, my EE eggs are getting old and I need to incubate them.
shoot no I can't....I'm starting a new job and need an auto turner.....
I'm torn, I really am haha
I have eggs that were "supposed" to be shipped to me on Tuesday. but we are in the middle of a rotating strike. theoretically they should have made it but at this point I don't know if the breeder took the chance.
if he hasn't shipped yet he probably won't for fear...

I'm just wondering if it's gonna take longer to incubate. I hear some ppl only have pips on day 21 for large eggs. this one is bigger than jumbo
I found an egg this morning that was so big I could not believe my eyes. I've seen double yolkers before but this tops it
it weighs 4 oz (120grams) Should I try and hatch it? if it was a double yolker there would be enough room to have 2 normal sized chicks in there
I'm trying to get a picture...
