Found the assisted hatching thread and I am giving them some more time.

So 3 of five hatched over the last 24 hrs but I have 2 with no pip. I am trying to remember what to do at this point; I had about zero sleep last night.

Cool. I expect to hatch on Saturday and Sunday and will be picking up the eggs Wednesday. They may get dropped off earlier depending on the sellers schedule. She has family up here so she figured it wouldn't be any issue to drop off if she comes for a visit anyway. :D RIRs and Buff Brahmas.

This is our plan as well. If the extras are pullets we will try and sell those at 8 weeks or so but otherwise, they are all named Stewie.

True again. I am hoping to get all the babies sold in the first two weeks so hopefully I won't have to keep the brooder light on too long. :P I get my fuzzy butt addiction sated and make a few dollars in the process (again, hopefully)

Too true! I suppose it's a bit different between the person hatching local farm eggs vs someone hatching, say, tolbunt polish. :rolleyes:

I just read something awesome! The cost of electricity to run an incubator (styrofoam style) for a whole year solid would only be about $21! Glad I didn't pick too expensive an addiction! :D

Maybe I will cut some small holes throughout. Or I heard a suggestion from someone else to use screen mesh, like from windows. Hummmmm...
