I have just candled araucana eggs from local auction, day 5, 6 of 6 fertile :) own eggs to be taken into school for sons class to hatch, day 14, 12 of 12 growing well :) shipped eggs day 19, 2 pipped :) - a light sussex and a cuckoo marans. 7 of 12 made it to lockdown.

You are so right LizardKing. I have been on this page a couple of times asking for people to support me and help me to resist the temptation and they basically just hand you the bottle!! It makes me feel less guilty though - a sort of 'they told me to' excuse!

I fell off the wagon..... I have one hen laying gorgeous green eggs, she is with a welsummer cockerel so I just stuck 6 of her eggs in the incubator. Hopefully by the summer I'll have a few more hens laying green eggs :)

Hi Johnny, I had the same idea, but then remembered we are going away on 27th and the chicks would be very young to be left by then so I set some 2 days ago instead!!
