    Pooman, roosters can be mean protecting hens,but hand raised ones have no fear of humans and feel equal or even superior to you. With sheep,bottle rams are not played with or pushed on their head,or they may severely injure you when they grow up

    My dry hatches are uniform and no weak or dead the next day. I use a reptile gage to check humidity. Just remember to mark day 18 on calendar to add water

    I've been self employed for 20 yrs and have seen everything when it comes to retail sales. Last summer a guy came in with a big jug of Tide to trade for a hamburger and soda. I took that deal. My serama eggs came yesterday,putting them in today.

    I use wood pellets,for a wood stove,as guinea pig bedding. It very absorbent. It is made of saw dust and I would think chicks may eat it. So I have never used for chicks.

    My lst dry hatch coming out tonight,popping out like popcorn in there. Black copper marans and new Hampshires. I've hatched eggs for over 40 years and this is the first time I didn't put water in on day one. I'm impressed with how they are hatching.

    Bazy, my eggs come regular mail. Have gotten lotsa eggs only had a few broken,they came from Alabama. They had so many extra I still got a good hatch

    I ordered eggs from south Carolina mailed to Pennsylvania. I hatched 26 out of 30, and I had only ordered a dozen.
