I have the stc1000 temp controller on my Hatcher and incubator. They work great! I am going to get another one to put in my broader in the chicken coop. Money well spent in my opinion.

One chick hatched out supper fast. We left to go shopping at 3pm and just got back at 7pm. It went from no pip to all hatched out. Two more have pip's but are just hanging around. 80 more eggs to hatch or 40, or 30, or 1 . It was supper early as Monday is day 21. I am guessing that the temp was...

I am using that little pan in my large cabinet incubator.. It is big enough to keep the humidity at 48% without help... The hoses that are going into the pan are attached to fish tank bubblers that help bring the humidity up to 75% if needed. I have the fish air bubbler motor attached to a...

Well, I finally have enough hens to fill the incubator half way in 10 days with 114 eggs! Now to see how well the cabinet incubator works. At day 7 there were only 25 non-fertile eggs. Now to see how they do on day 18 and 21. Hoping for over 50% hatch rate... I forgot to mention that I made an...

That is great that you are having your mom help you. I bet she loved spending that quality time with her child.

I wonder if the sensor probe is loose or what ever the part that is attached to the end of the humidity sensor in your incubator. Good luck finding the problem.

Kind of. It is about the size of the picture or a couple of inches longer. The water goes into the white plastic nut where the threads are. Then it comes out under the angle thing where the float is connected to. A person will have to drill a hole in the side of the bowl / dish/ tub to fit the...

Great idea. Keep us informed. I used one of these floats in the summer to water the chickens. I got it off of amazon for about $11 or so. All I had to do was walk by to check to see if there was water in the tub as I passed to get the eggs. It was the best thing I made. I cannot wait until...

I really like the foggers in the incubator that I just was using had two 1.5 inch holes in the bater. One in the bottom and the other on the top. With the fogger, I could make the humidity rise easly if when wanted. I am thinking that all you need is some air to move over the water to get the...

I had a little giant that I sold last year thinking I would never need it when I built a cabinet incubator. I sure wish I had it right now so I can use it for a hatcher. It gets addictive.

I got this fogger... I am thinking they are the same but who knows. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PAK26JS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02 I put two marks on the side of the container and I am sure glad that I did that.

I have a tray slanted to that diverts the air across the fog. I have a air line in the tub and a teed outside. One hose goes in the gallon jug while the other one is used to siphon the water out to get it flowing in the tub. Works better than I expected to get water in there. The bottom line is...
