    We ordered 15 chicks from Cackle Hatchery, Plymouth Barred Rocks and Black Australorps. I think there was some weirdness about how many males you had to take, and how many of each breed, but I don't remember because my husband did the ordering. They sent 16 chicks, one died in the first month...
