The door isn't big enough, it should be at least 12 inches x 12 inches. The painting thing, I mean the coop. Michele- mstricer

How big is the opening to the pop door it looks rather small. If I were you I would paint the plywood, or it swell and rot much faster then if painted. Michele- mstricer
