I made some changes per a suggestion someone made on this thread. We now have vinyl pvc lattice over the welded wire for extra safety. Just needs a coat of white paint.- Gorman Farm

Like I said in my previous post everything except the screws was re-purposed to make our coop. We were also taking down an old shed so that helped with materials. We are going to paint the coop white, after discussing your reply we have decided to do PVC lattice over the front where the wire is to allow for airflow but also look pretty. The wire we have on the side vents is heavier with 1/2 inch spacing, do we need to cover that with lattice as well...- Gorman Farm

Wow some of these coops are amazing. We only have 9 chickens, and we re-purposed materials from an old barn we tore down.
