thought I might share a pic of our " chicken TV " as well. My daughter and I try and spend and hour or so out in the run with our birds. We mostly have silkies and cochins so they have huge personalities that off set their small bodies and are fun to watch and talk to.- coaldigger

we decided to start raising chickens as a way to get our kids out of the house. for the most part it has been a family affair........or at least the fun parts !....LoL. a few pics of shed conversion and new run. While I feel "done" for now, we all know that you can never be done. I need to finish with a permanent roof and decide on a run floor covering, add a swing and an outdoor roost.- coaldigger

the plastic is all cut out and wall board going up Saturday.I am also determined to finish coop with window and pop door as well as the run.- coaldigger

Finally moved the kids outside to the coop ! I am still working on the run, but they seem to be happy...It an addition added to our existing garden shed. I was going to buy one at first and then really for the y money here could not find one I was happy with. Then during research ti build my own...- coaldigger
