I'm in Greensburg, PA near Pittsburgh. I also left a 4 - 6 inch gap (covered in hardware cloth) around the entire coop where the walls meet the ceiling for ventilation. I spent a lot of time looking at coop pics in this site and others before I started.- goldwing79
