Thanks for the comments and advice, all of which are taken seriously as we're still in the guessing & experimenting phase As for the fencing, well, 2" x 4' was a good idea at the time, except we've had to add strands of wire to the bottom few lines, as the 2 PITA Midget Chooks kept escaping...- happyhousefarm
